Providing evidence based exercise programming specifically for people affected by Parkinson’s disease.
Together we will create an effective exercise program to address your specific needs allowing you to move better, feel more energized and improve your physical and emotional well-being. Helping my clients improve and maintain their independence and confidence is my greatest priority through Individual Personal Training and Group Classes
My approach to coaching is to uncover the method of movement most compatible to each individual. Together we set challenging yet realistic goals. I recommend engaging in some form of physical activity everyday in order to maintain momentum and routine in self care. Success comes from having a plan and knowing what your fitness practice will be on any given day. I believe that everyone has the potential to live a fulfilling and meaningful life. By identifying and working toward their goals, my clients are able to unlock their potential and create a life they love.
These services are designed to help people affected by Parkinson's disease move through their day safely and independently.
I was first diagnosed 2 years ago. My neurologist strongly urged exercise and recommended Jill’s wonderful class. Jill has more than lived up to expectations. Taking the class 5 times a week has been one of the best things for my coping with PD!

I have found your classes to be most helpful. My name is Marion, I am 74 years old and was diagnosed six years ago. You make exercising fun. Thank you for being the special person you are.
Marion, (74)
I had always been active, gone to an exercise class twice per week, run, and skied until I couldn’t any more due to loss of balance and fear of falling.
I love the brain aspects of it. I didn’t realize how much my hand agility was going, other than my handwriting until Jill started doing finger exercises with us. Also, it is increasingly difficult to walk and chew gum at the same time and we do exercises to address that.

After I retired I thought I would get some help in the gym for just a few months as I was not an exercise person.
Then I met Jill and she motivated me so much that 8 yrs later we are still working together!
She has helped me with my strength, posture, balance and soo much more so that at 79 yrs I feel like 50!!!..
Nothing I could have achieved on my own!
Jill is a delight to work with and from someone who hated exercise I now actually love and look forward to our sessions twice a week!
Jill is the Best and look forward to many more years together.

I have worked with Jill for over 10 years. She has helped me regain my skill and confidence through a Parkinson’s diagnosis and a double femur break among other physical challenges. Each time she has reworked my program to address my new needs and unquestionably made huge contributions to my wellness.
She takes a personal interest in solving problems including making joint office visits and speaking with other wellness team members.
In addition to Jill’s formidable skills and conscientiousness she is a delight to work and spend time with.

Jill has been an amazing fitness instructor and has such a wide range of knowledge about health and wellness in general. Her dedication and passion to helping others is truly inspiring. Her virtual classes have been so valuable by keeping me moving especially during the winter and summer months when I prefer to exercise indoors. I am also grateful for all the tips and strategies she shares for improving posture, fine motor skills and cognition. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and caring personal trainer.

Jill is brilliant at what she does. Her knowledge of fitness, the body, and Parkinson’s is dazzling. She’s imaginative, inspiring and supportive; she’s also generous and upbeat. I have no doubt that my partner, who’s worked with Jill for years since his Parkinson’s diagnosis, would not be where he is today – strong, upright, mobile – without her invaluable training. Joe (86)
I am benefitting so much from Jill’s classes. Throughout the day, I recognize the moves we do in class. For example, turning and reaching up to grab wine glasses (an important skill) or lunging forward in the garden to reach that perfect tomato in our tomato jungle. The classes make exercising easy to work in my schedule - no excuses. My favorite is the mat class. Challenging but not afraid of falling! JIll does a great job motivating and offering useful tips that make life with P.D. more manageable. Thank you.
